What is Die Casting?

Die Casting is a manufacturing process in which metal parts are produced through the injection of molten metals such as aluminum and zinc under high pressure into a mold cavity. The mold cavity is created using two hardened steel dies, which are crafted into simple and complex shapes with smooth surfaces. However, some molds may separate when the process is finished. Most die castings are made from non-ferrous metals, specifically zinc, copper, aluminum, magnesium, lead, pewter and tin based alloys. Depending on the type of metal being cast, a hot- or cold-chamber machine is used. *Note: Change the pictures for Die-Casting (these are screw parts)
